normal designs: Brighton and London, United Kingdom; Normal Designs is an interior design practice. We are passionate about sustainability and want to reduce our impact on the planet. We upcycle, make-do-and-mend, swap, haggle and barter for our interiors. We like to make something new out of something old, rather than turn out even more unnecessary ‘things’. The handmade and hand crafted are preferable to a mass produced ‘trendy’ item. As such we collect vintage, swap artwork, paint, patch and mend furniture that would otherwise be on the way to landfill. This is our home, some of our work, and also some of our inspirations.
